Disneyland at Christmas Time

When we last went to Disneyland, we ended up buying season passes.  There are a couple of reasons for this.  The most practical one being that after we were there for 5 days, it only cost a little bit to turn the tickets into season passes.  My mom lives in California, and my brother will be getting married within the year, so we would go back at LEAST once - so it definitely made it worth it to spend that extra money and get season passes.  But the real reason we got season passes is because James (and now Enzo) are such Disneyland fanatics.  So, when James found very cheap flights for the beginning of December, right before Enzo turned two (which means we didn't have to buy him a ticket too), we packed up and hopped onto a plane for another trip to Disneyland.

I have to say, there is definitely something special, or "magical" about being at Disneyland at Christmastime.  There's nothing like walking down Main Street and hearing Christmas music in the background, or seeing all of the lights and Christmas decorations.
And what could beat Disneyland - and Santa Claus - at the same time.
Enzo was even brave enough to sit on Santa's lap by himself!
We might have even been as excited as everyone else was at the SNOW that fell, except we live in Utah, and know what snow really is.  Or, more importantly, Enzo knows bubbles when he sees them.
I think our favorite Christmas-time addition to Disneyland was on It's a Small World - which was covered in lights on the outside, and where they sang "Jingle Bells" on the inside.
The quality of the video below is really bad, but you can sort of get an idea of how excited Enzo was throughout the whole ride, bouncing up and down and singing along to the songs.
The other highlights of the trip included getting to meet some more of Enzo's favorite characters.  Enzo was so excited to see Winnie the Pooh that he actually ran up to him and gave him a hug.

He also liked seeing Tigger

and had some fun while we were waiting.

Here are a couple other characters we got meet on this trip:

Overall, it was a fun trip, and of course helped to cement in Enzo's mind how much he, like Daddy, loves Disneyland.  Now, he asks several times a week if he can go to Disneyland.  I've even found him playing in my shower as if it can somehow take him there. "Bye bye Mommy, Enzo go Dis-ney-wand." All I can say is, he's his Daddy's boy.  (And James made him this way, so he can't complain when his kid always wants to go to Disneyland!)
